Michael Felmingham Art Prints
British artist Michael Felmingham has a long-standing connection with the English house and garden; his first published drawings in the Saturday Books of the late 1950s were often concerned with them. His interest in ruined houses and neglected gardens found expression in his book Ruins: A Personal Anthology, written with Rigby Graham (Country Life, 1972).
Between 1968 and 1989 he taught at Coventry College of Art in England. Book illustrations, printmaking and murals feature in his oeuvre, but he is notably a watercolorist and has exhibited with the Royal Watercolour Society in London. He was the Saunders Waterford prizewinner in 1981 and won awards in the Laing Landscape Competitions in 1992 and 1994.
His work is represented in numerous private and public collections, and he has accepted commissions from many major companies including the Bank of England, Allied Lyons, Texaco and the National Bank of Japan.
