Haibin Art Prints
"Art is my life," says painter Haibin, "it is everything, it is my love, it is a language that speaks to the world in a silent way."
Haibin was born in China and began painting at the age of eleven. At twelve he was selected to attend the art institute in the city of Benxi, where he studied drawing for the next two years. Later, he took painting classes at the Art Institute in Beijing where he became interested in the French Impressionists. At the time, Haibin produced more than three hundred paintings a year, spending many hours outdoors painting the villages and the countryside of Western China. After completing a degree in fine arts and working as art director for a graphic design firm, the artist immigrated to the U.S. He settled in Atlanta, enrolling at the Atlanta College of Art, where he earned his second B.F.A. Currently, Haibin works as a freelance artist. Since 1990, his work has been shown in galleries and private collections throughout the country.
